HengXinLi is currently seeking a Marketing Director in Shanghai.
Responsibilities
Develop a clearly defined marketing and communication strategy for an online real estate investment platform in a manner that supports consistent business growth and enhances brand equity and awareness
Plan, organize, coordinate and manage all marketing/communication functions in China to achieve the Company objectives of sales, growth, profitability and visibility while ensuring a consistent marketing/communication message and consistent with the corporate direction
Work closely with company management and support teams to understand and communicate the strategic direction of the company, help develop and implement long term marketing strategies that are geared towards growing investment volume and profitability
Play a key role in defining the brand positioning and messaging for the current market and develop branding communication and promotion strategies
Understand customer's preferences, behaviors and demographics to design and implement the best current and future marketing initiatives
Working closely with external digital marketing agency, reviewing the agencies performance, monitoring results and suggesting changes to the strategy as required
Plan and implement inbound marketing efforts like SEO, working in conjunction with the technology department and external agency to implement SEO across all web platforms
Working with digital agency to ensure clear brand direction and marketing strategy is implemented in social, digital and online media campaigns
Identification of media opportunities for brand exposure including publications and interviews
Creation of tiered membership scheme with reward based incentives;defining the tier levels and incentives
Identification and brokerage of collaboration opportunities and/or partnerships for brand exposure as part of an incentive scheme.
Creating a program of marketing events and seminars throughout China and overseeing marketing team for implementation
Oversee the efficient use of CRM software for communicating marketing materials or information with members
Verify marketing results by conducting system audits of strategies implemented
Recommend marketing strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing marketing strategy
Identify key marketing staffing positions to be filled and undertake recruitment process; build marketing team that you will manage
Requirements
Degree in advertising or marketing
At least 8 years relevant working experience
Preferably work experience in at least 2 firms
Experience launching a new company or product in China involving a major marketing campaign across social and digital media
Highly numerate and analytical thinker with the ability to apply these skills in a marketing environment
Good knowledge of marketing strategy planning, marketing research, media communication, public relationship, marketing events and advertisement
Experience in e-commerce or retail investment platform an advantage
Experience with CRM software
Written and spoken fluency in Chinese and English
Experience in graphic design an advantage
Ability to work under pressure and outside normal office hours when required
Ability to demonstrate use of problem solving, innovation and initiative
“Think outside the box” attitude
Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills, initiative, the ability to manage and lead people
Some international and local business trips may be required.
