Blue Hive is seeking a talented Motion Graphics Designer / Animator to join its team of video professional content creators.
The right candidate will be a passionate self-starter who knows how to conceptualize, design, and execute high quality motion graphics for both video overlays and animated videos.
This position requires a solid foundation in both digital design – including After Effects (2D animation and 3D motion tracking) and traditional graphic design including the understanding of branding, typography, color and composition.
Ideally, this person is comfortable capturing, editing and integrating live-action footage to bring ideas to life through an array of mediums. This person should have a strong sense of style and refined visual aesthetic with a passion for storytelling.
Responsibilities
Creating and compositing high end animations for short form online video
Ideate and create graphics based video supers in a quick manner
Working with the team to determine a project’s creative & technical needs to propose best solutions
Keeping up with a fast-paced work environment and delivering animations under tight deadlines
Guide content graphics from pre-production through final deliverable
Create reusable graphics for perpetual and practical use
Requirements
2-3 years’ experience in visual communication, design or film
Good level of English fluency
Expert knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and video formats/codecs
A self-starter who can both ideate and execute
Demonstrated knowledge of online production and multimedia storytelling
Demonstrate organizational and time management skills and work well under deadline pressure
Strong foundation in design and typography
Experience creating video content for automotive brands is a plus
