We are a privately owned Singaporean company opening a European style premium butchery that is poised to redefine the standards of meat offering in China through the use of exceptional service and finest imported meat products. We are reapplying a successful business model from Singapore and are opening our first store on Hongmei Road near the City Shop area in July 2015.
We are searching for someone to take full responsibility for our Bookkeeping.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree and work experience in accounting. Ideally you are a certified accountant with some international experience. Experience in the use of accounting software and accounting in a retail context is desired.
The work responsibilities are expected to change based on the growth of the company. The following responsibilities will be entirely borne by the applicant in the beginning and will at a later point in time split between the applicant and a to be hired Assistant bookkeeper that would report to the applicant.
Responsibilities
• Create financial statements and related financial reports
• Record and pay accounts payable
• Issue invoices to and collect from customers
• Calculate pay and issue payments to employees
• Remit payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxes
• Account for fixed assets
• Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash accounts and monitor cash levels
• Collect information as needed for the annual audit
• Maintain a coherent system of accounts, with a supporting filing system
• Verbal and written translation for General Manager (where needed)
• Human Resource matters (Management of local staff and administrative HR tasks)
Requirements
• Good command of the English language both written and verbal
• Fluent Chinese both written and verbal
• Accounting Degree and relevant work experience
• Accounting Software knowledge
Skills and experience desired (expected to have or be strong at most of these)
• Certified for Tax filling with the authorities
• Accounting Software experience with Kindgdee K3 of advantage
• POS Software experience of advantage (Digi scales)
• Independent, Reliable, Strong focus on finishing the job at hand
• Eager to learn
