Jellymon is seeking talented creatives: thinking designers to work on projects across multiple fields and disciplines. As a fast growing company it is important that candidates are doers who can self initiate and can work on creative projects without the need to have their hands held at all times.
Commercial experience is a must as is the ability to design and create beautiful, thoughtful work. Teamwork is a key part of the role, with the potential to take the lead with younger designers and creatives on a wide range of projects.
The role extends beyond 'just' design as the work that we do relies on not just good technical ability, but being able to think creatively and problem solve.
Senior Creatives/Designers: 3+ years experience.
Junior Designers: 1+ years experience.
Requirements:
Excellent visual and graphic skills
A creative mind, being able to be thoughtful about design and research and translate that thoughtfulness to the development and actualisation of ideas
Excellent computer based design skills
Must be fully computer literate in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (any additional Adobe Software, editing or knowledge of 3D software an advantage)
A love of design and if possible a broad interest in culture, art, music, fashion, sub-culture, youth-culture, etc.
An individual who works well in a team but also can be self-reliant and can self-initiate
Mandarin & English (Read & Write an advantage)
Capable of working smart in order to reach tight(ish) deadlines. Often tight deadlines are a fact of life in the creative industry in China. We believe that if work is planned smartly, deadlines can be achieved without sacrificing quality
