Red Bridge Communications is currently seeking a Bahasa Copywriter to join its team in Shanghai.
As the Bahasa Copywriter, you will be responsible for writing headlines and localizing copy for web and other materials. This involves adapting the copy originally written in English for the Indonesian market.
Responsibilities
Develop original Bahasa content for press materials, social media content, newsletters, brochures, flyers and taglines
Adapt English material to Bahasa content
Proofread, edit and re-write existing Bahasa material
Proactively responding and interacting with the Indonesian online community across all platforms
To be engaged with the Indonesian community and have local knowledge of daily life/traditions
Maintain the brand tone of voice in your language. The tone should be consistent, regardless of the media format
Ensure all messages are clear, follow the spirit of the English master copy and communicate the same strategic point
Requirements
Excellence in written and spoken Bahasa
Journalism or Communications major preferred
Fluency in written and spoken English
Strong communication skills – comfortable in liaising management/clients, media and opinion formers
Most importantly, a great attitude that combines a willingness to learn, roll your sleeves up and achieve solutions.
