Job Description

A leading global healthcare advertising agency requires an Associate Planning Director to manage the planning function and lead the planning teams in the Shanghai office.

You will report directly to the Head of Planning, Greater China and be a key team member that aids in shaping the future direction of the agency.
Responsibilities

Forming solid networks with local and ex-pat pharmaceutical clients
Developing expansion initiatives for clients
Mapping health and wellness trends and following consumer insight studies
Managing a planning team of 6-8 planners and interns
Supervising regular day-to-day work and pitches
Training and developing team
Contributing to thought leadership initiatives, new business initiatives and corporate promotion initiatives
Requirements

Relevant advertising and communications industry experience
8-10 years in advertising (of which at least 5 years should be in planning)
Senior planning capabilities
Experience in FMCG and consumer brands (health, OTC and wellness brands)
Relevant skills and aptitude
Proficiency in marketing, advertising and brand strategy concepts
Good team management and development skills
Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
