Malherbe Design is seeking a talented 3D Designer to join its office in Shanghai.
Pro-active, creative and sensitive with strong 3D modeling and rendering skills, you will have to produce the final 3Ds of different kind of projects in various fields such as mass market retailers, fashion stores or shopping malls.
Used to working on different scale projects, you are very precise and rigorous. You can deliver your work on tight timing and assure the post-production of your images with a real artistic talent.
As part of the design team, you can also be involved in the first creative research or support the design development phase providing 3D models directly usable by the suppliers.
Very demanding, you don’t just provide 3Ds… you seduce and inject life in your images to express the concepts!
General Mission: To produce 3D images illustrating the creative proposals
Flowchart: Under the supervision of the Retail Manager
Responsibilities
Participate in the development of creative proposals
Propose, give creative input
Give life to the different lines of thought of DC and RM
Produce perspectives and / or elevations highlighting creative proposals
Be source of proposal in terms of viewing angle, light, texture, layout, color etc. to produce the best rendering
Be responsible for the final rendered image
Working with graphics team to integrate VI and other support such as video, animation etc.
Perform the functions of A and B on the general or ad hoc project elements (furniture, specific details, etc...)
Ensure compatibility of models built with subsequent exploitation by CAD designers, suppliers and other trades involved in the project
Found the best technical tools to ensure the best quality execution and implementation (monitoring and software training)
Anticipate needs by supplying a variety of topics in a library (fashion, home, electronics etc,...)
Organize its work by preparing in advance layouts, plans etc.
Alert and / or seek the RR line to meet the deadline
Requirements
3D Max / VRay / Photoshop
English speaking / Chinese is a Plus
Must be creative and have technical skills of modeling and rendering
Able to support the Creative Director / Retail Design Manager in creative research
Able to support the Retail Design Manager and Project Manager in the final realization of ideas validated
Pro-active, fast, robust and accurate and assumes a real graphic sensitivity.
