One of the market leading online hotel reservation service in the world and/or its various support companies throughout the world are looking for people to support the business in the fast-growing hotel markets.
We are looking for a pro-active and creative social media professional for a Chinese Social Media Manager position in China.
As a Chinese Social Media Manager you would support this outstanding company in driving its brand presence in Chinese social media channels and by developing and managing its social strategy in China. You will report into the Area Manager Strategic Partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Support in developing and updating the social media strategy for China market, making sure it develops in-line with the company global marketing guideline, that takes into account the needs and particularities of the Chinese market.
Plan and coordinate Chinese social media campaigns that support the brand together with China partners, attracting new users, high engagement levels and also supporting the company in its revenue-driven goals.
Promote the brand online; effectively support it in developing partnerships with identified key influencers on social media channels and travel bloggers.
Monitor trends in social media channels and the competition; be aware of market changes and developments; apply that knowledge to increase the effectiveness of social media efforts.
Coordinate the content plan with the Content and Brand team in Amsterdam to guarantee best possible engaging content. Manage social publishing calendar.
Define, track, and report performance of social media metrics for campaigns and ongoing social media initiatives.
Assist the company in leveraging measurement tools to establish progress reports and mine insights, while continuously improving those metrics through testing and identifying new initiatives.
Build and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across all functions to ensure best result through cross-departmental synergies.
Requirements:
Native Chinese and fluent in spoken and written English
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, Public Relations or a relevant field of work
3+ years related experience in social marketing, advertising or communications. Hotel Marketing Communication experience is a plus.
China social media experience, especially WeChat experience is highly appreciated.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Great passion for social media marketing
Well-developed understanding and knowledge of digital marketing techniques and Chinese social media platforms
Creative, pro-active, calm under pressure and fantastic interpersonal skills
Strong project management and organization skills
Fair technical knowledge and can pick up new tools quickly.
