Labbrand is looking for an imaginative and reliable Senior Designer, based in our Shanghai headquarters.
You will integrate your design thinking into brand innovation and growth to make the visual design emotionally and functionally meaningful.
You will actively participate in the development of brand visual identity, packaging and other communication materials for all touch points, contribute to the development of new approaches, support cross-department cooperation, and enable development of existing and new clients with our business development team.
Responsibilities (This responsibilities list is non-exhaustive)
Project operation
Assist to lead projects, including project allocation, project team arrangement, and supervision of project execution. Projects are mainly corporate identity with brand thinking
Assist to organize project flow, including translate brand idea and concept in visual systems covering Graphic, Brochure, Website, Signage, Packaging with a great sense of accountability for project methodology and goal and in respect with time constraints
Assist to maintain and apply the internal Corporate Visual Brand Identity under the supervision of Directors
Communicate with clients to understand and respond to their needs efficiently
Coordinate with other departments for cross-department projects
Supporting business development
Collaborate with Business Department to activate existing clients and develop new clients. Supervise or take charge of designing proposals, attending pitch meetings and presentation meetings
Support Business Department for account management. Communicate with client, during and after project completion to enhance client loyalty
Develop compelling case studies (content/visuals) from completed projects
Team development
Assist to develop/learn and apply innovative methodologies to meet specific goal, such as picture modelling, 3D rendering, design thinking, etc.
Assist to guide team to learn new knowledge and techniques, including strategic guidance of corporate visual brand identity and its applications in all aspects of the company activity
Requirements

Cross cultural Sensitivity with proficiency in English as well as Mandarin
Bachelor degree or above, major in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design or related field is a plus
As least 4 years work experience in branding agency or design agency, mainly experience in corporate identity & brand identity design, communication and marketing tool and material design, including: logo, VI system, website, brochure, packaging, etc.
Excellent skill in Adobe cs5, including: illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Sensitive to VI design implementation, such as paper and materials
Strong ability of project planning and management
Quality acumen with an attention to details
Skilled at design thinking and highly solution driven.
