Digital Creative is looking for a Back-end Engineer to join its team in Shanghai.
Responsibilities
Design and build custom back-end solutions using a PHP framework or the WordPress CMS, and create new features in PHP from scratch
Work closely with front-end engineers and designers to develop a remarkable end product
Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g. solid software design, automated code testing, extensive documentation, and writing pretty code)
Keep up with the fast moving Web Development industry by learning and growing in your respective field
Requirements
Experience in with at least one PHP Framework (Larvel, Symphony, Yii, CakePHP ...)
Experience with the WordPress CMS
Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux
A solid foundation in computer science, with software analysis and design practices and competencies in data structures and algorithms
Experience with Git, Grunt / Gulp, Bower, NPM
Experience in shipping and maintaining at least one high-traffic website
Proficient in English
Good sense of modern design
Knowledge in Object-oriented JavaScript skills
Test-driven development with Karma (or others)
Experience with cloud storage services (e.g. Parse / Cloud Code, Firebase)
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
Experience in working with an Agency.
