BYB Vision is seeking a Design Manager to join its team in Shanghai.
Responsibilities
Manage the delivery of the overall design projects ranging from store design, window design, interior design to visual merchandising, including planning, scheduling, following up, executing and reporting
Communicate and coordinate with clients and/or suppliers about the projects including design, sampling, production and installation in a good manner
Review and monitor the Design Team’s design processes, procedures and quality management plans thus ensuring distribution of all design information and documentation to all relevant parties
Design effective interior/ space design to be visually appealing, visceral, and promote marketing needs
Coach the junior graphic designers
Coordinate and support other departments on design related matters
Report to the Director on a regular basis
Requirements
Good at sketching up in design
In-depth knowledge (proficiency) of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and 3D max" software. Additional software is a plus
5+ years of professional experience in retail design
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong management skills to ensure timely issue of multiple project deliverables
Team player and leader
Working experiences in fashion retail industry preferred
Language: English and/or Chinese.
