Coming in at the entry level, and as we are a very small team, your role will span a wide spectrum of tasks that include both internal operation support and client project support. You will thus learn the nuts and bolts of our business, the culture of our company and the way we do things, before being assigned to client projects.

Key Responsibilities
I. Internal Operation Support
a. Assist the Managing Director
- Manage and coordinate meeting schedules and appointments
- Convert meeting notes into reports and/or presentations
- Where necessary, carry out additional research to complete these reports and/or presentations
- Manage and coordinate travel schedules and arrangements
- Other tasks as required
b. Office and Administration
- Manage company announcements, memos and website
- Manage office and library, and maintain office facilities
- Coordinate the sending and receiving of packages (courier/kuadi)
- Manage visa application/renewal processes and relevant paperwork
- Manage other administrative issues as required
c. Basic Tax and Accounting Matters
- Ensure that relevant documents/receipts are maintained and sent to our tax accountants each month
d. Finance
- Manage monthly client expense sheets
- Ensure all expenses are accounted for each month and sent to clients for invoicing
II. Client Project Management and Support
- Assist with project execution
- Conduct primary and secondary research
- Update, maintain and/or create various databases and documents on industry intelligence and information
- Manage knowledge database
- Produce, edit and/or review project reports and client presentations
- Other tasks as required

Requirements
Undergraduate degree from a reputable university (specific discipline not important as long as you are able and willing to learn)
2-3 years of work experience
Native English speaker with strong writing skills; experience in writing and editing documents will be valued
Mandarin proficiency preferred but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Close attention to details and ability to maintain performance under pressure
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
High level of initiative and fast learner, but not afraid to ask questions or admit mistake
Modesty, humility and a good sense of humor
If you are an ideal candidate but are currently enrolled in a Chinese class or otherwise unable to begin on a full-time basis, we are willing to accommodate starting on a half-time basis for the first 3-6 months.
