Elementary/Middle School Reading/Writing Teacher
Essential Qualifications:
1) B.ED (4-5 Education Degree) preferably with certification in
country of origin (with teacher practicum is preferable) or B.A. (English/Arts) degree holders + ESL Certificate with extensive experience maybe accepted
2) Minimum 2 years of professional teaching experience with reputable schools, or 0rganizations New B.ED graduates may be accepted with good teaching practicum, and or other relevant teaching experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
ESL certificate (CELTA, TESOL, TEFL)
ECE/Montessori diploma
Working conditions and responsibilities
(Following conditions apply to full time teachers only)
a)Full time work week: Monday to Friday 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Saturdays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
b)24 contact teaching periods per week
c)Responsible for tracking student progress and administrative work (report cards, parent teacher interviews… etc)
