Foreign Instructor for Undergraduate Courses "Computer Aided Engineering Lab I & II"
Main Content of the Courses:
CAD software Solidworks will be used.
Computer Aided Engineering Lab I: Visualize 3D shapes in space; Hand sketch orthographic views, isometric views, and dimensioning; Create computer models, detail drawings, and assembly BOMs in Solidworks.
Computer Aided Engineering Lab II: Apply advanced modeling techniques using Solidworks; 3D sketching; Weldments; Sheet Metal; Sweeps; Photoview; Spring Recess: FEA; Surfacing; Cores and Cavities; Motion Study; Top down Assembly, etc.
Requirements:
1. Master’s Degree or above
2. Majoring in Mechanical engineering and automation, electronic engineering, computer, or other related fields;
3. English native speaker is preferred;
4. More than 3 years’ teaching or training experience is preferred;
5. Patient and enthusiastic for teaching with high sense of responsibility;
6. Understanding American higher education system, test methods and requirements.
Teaching Location: Jilin City, Jilin Province, China at Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology
Teaching Duration: 8 weeks start in September
Work Load: Each course 32 teaching hours, 2 courses are 64 teaching hours, i.e. 8 teaching hours per week
Syllabus of the course shall be provided; however, handouts, PowerPoint slides, quiz, exam paper and other teaching materials shall be required to prepare by the instructor him/herself.
