The School: ME is an extracurricular language institute geared towards the K-6 grade levels. We have 2 campuses in the city, and our classes take place weekdays after school (usually 7: 30-9: 30 PM), and run all day on the weekends. Main Responsibilities: Carry out the agreed upon timetable of classes as decided by you and the administration Give student-centric lessons that maximize the time students use English communicative, and minimize the time spent on teacher-fronted lectures Provide lesson plans and homework assignments to the administration prior to each class (these are provided to our teachers, but may be adapted to meet student needs as you see fit) Develop and use suitable supplementary materials as necessary Use audio / video materials in classes Expose students to the advantages of task-based language learning (i. e., learning by doing, not just listening and repeating) Begin and end classes on time Make brief audio recordings of the core material covered in each class and post them in the class's QQ chat room after each class. Prepare lessons and equipment in advance for all classes Provide brief, student progress reports every other week Career Plan: Wages increase upon completion of a 1-year contract and signing of a 2nd year contract.
