Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) is a leading higher educational institution in southern China and there are currently five Foreign Language Schools affiliated with the university.
The English School attached to GDUFS in Guangzhou (www.gwdwx.com)is inviting applicants for a full-time teaching position for the term beginning February 13, 2017. Responsibilities of the teacher generally include the preparation and delivery of oral English classes for grade one students.
Job Title: Primary One ESL Teacher

Qualifications and requirements:
1. Applicant must be a native speaker of English.
2. Degree holder, preferably in TESOL/TEFL/Education, with at least 1 year of teaching experience.
3. Possesses excellent organizational qualities, communication skills, and the ability to work well with a multicultural staff.
Duties:
1. Teaching a maximum of 25 x 40 mins. lesson periods per week, including extracurricular activities e.g. English Corner, tutoring classes, sports activities, judging of English contests and taping of materials for examinations etc.
2. Planning lessons and assessments
Remuneration:
1) A monthly salary of RMB 10,000
2) Free accommodation – furnished private bedroom and free internet access. (excl. utilities)
3) Food meals up to RMB 400 per teaching month (excluding vacation months)
4) A bonus payment of 1 month salary will be made upon completion of a full year contract. The bonus will be pro-rated if only working half a year.
Airfare Reimbursement
5) 1 month salary payment to cover airfare will be made upon completion of the one year contract. A pro-rated bonus will be given for those working only half a year.
Holiday Time: All Chinese public holidays are paid.
