Core responsibility :
Recruit students and promote the IB learner profile from both the expatriate and local Chinese communities in China.
Position demands :
· A degree from a tertiary education institution in Marketing is preferred.
· At least three years of leadership experience
· Prior publicity and recruiting experiences for an international school in China/ East Asia or some knowledge of the IB program is preferred
· Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) would be an asset.
· The ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
· Good health, physical stamina, fitness, and vitality
Working relationships :
· Reporting to and working with the Director of Development.
· Supervised and lead all Marketing staffs, cooperating with other members of staff.
· External contacts with schools, professional associations and organizations professional organisations and suppliers, as appropriate.
Main duties and responsibilities
· Student recruiting, admissions
· Market research
· Design and implement a marketing strategy
· Maintain a close and broad network to prospective parents and students
· Updating the school promotional materials in time
· Assist the Director of Development in other case
Accountability / Goals
· Maintain a good image of the school
· Keep updated on all marketing policies
· Submit accurate reports on a timely basis.
