Job Description

Event planning & management agency Riviera Events is seeking a Designer Intern to join its team in Guangzhou, China.
Responsibilities

During the pitching process, the Designer Intern is responsible for creating a variety of designs needed to enhance the sales presentations
Designer Intern must be able to base his/her work on the creative brief and deliver within often tight deadlines; the quality of these designs will almost always be a key-deciding factor of whether or not the agency wins the project
Once the projects move into production, the Designer Intern should develop the design required such as the communication materials (key visuals, invitations, etc.), but also the production items (backdrops, decorations, etc.); these designs should be provided ready-to-use by the agency’s vendors (printers, production-house, etc.) to guarantee smooth execution
Requirements

Local Chinese with a bachelor degree in design required
Fluent English required (spoken and written)
Strong interest for branding, lifestyle, luxury and new trends is required
Results-driven, drive & working-intensity
Ability to work in team
Responsible, can be held accountable for tasks
Can be tough against adversity
Great with details
Honest
Potential to develop a passion for event management
