RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating translation of project materials received from Nielsen client service team
- Accountability for quality of translated materials delivered to Nielsen client service team
- Ensuring Quality, Consistency, Standards
- Working with the global vendor on outsourced translation requests
- Building and Managing Translation Memory and Terminology Database
QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent English speaker.
- Native ability in Mandarin is essential, native speaker or knowledge of Cantonese is preferred.
- Desired degree in Translation or Foreign Languages
- Ability to translate into/from between English and Mandarin/Cantonese
- Expert relationship building skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong influencing skills (external and internal)
- Well developed negotiation skills
- High level of energy, self-direction and motivation
- Execution and results-focused
- Excellent client service skills
- Excellent coordination and multi-tasking skills
- Computer literacy, hands-on skills of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of CAT (Computer Aided Translation) Tool preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of other foreign languages preferred but not essential
