In the past few years, the college has at least 10 international teachers every year for Oral English, English Writing, International Business, Business in Japanese, Culture & Literature, etc. For the 2015-2016 school year, we are looking for one native English teacher to join our Foreign Language Department.
Requirements:
Applicants should be a native English speaker holding a Bachelor degree or higher.
Applicants should have at least two-year teaching experience (preferably with college or university students).
Applicants should be in good health.
Salary and Welfare
An international teacher (FT)'s salary will be determined by the college according to the duties required of the FT and the demonstrated professional competence, with consideration of his/her academic training, qualifications and work experience. Salary will be paid as usual during winter vacations and holidays stipulated by the Chinese government.
Other Allowances:
Vacation allowance: RMB 1,100 every semester.
Teaching bonus: RMB 500 to RMB 1,000 is granted according to the teaching evaluation every semester.
International airfare: RMB 8,000 yuan is granted at the end of the school year. If the teacher continues to teacher for another year, RMB12,000 yuan will be granted..
If the teacher continues his/her teaching in the college for another year, he/she will receive his/her salary as usual during summer vacations.
The College buys the personal accidental insurance for a foreign teacher.
80% of cost of medical care for common illness treatment and medicine will be provided.
Housing
An apartment with a kitchen, bathroom, furniture, bedding, refrigerator, air conditioner and other basic appliances is provided for every international teacher.
Holidays
All international teachers are entitled to all Chinese public holidays and summer and winter vacations as scheduled by the college. A free trip in Guangdong Province will be arranged every semester. Additionally, all international teachers have three days holiday for Christmas.
