We are a Sourcing & Quality Control company based in Tianhe District, Guangzhou and we are looking for a logistics executive. We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of work experience either in a logistics company or in a logistics position within a sourcing company.
Job Location: Tianhe District, Guangzhou (Close to Linhexi Metro Station).
Essential Requirements:
• Good English reading, writing and understanding and at least intermediate level speaking and listening.
• Good understanding of logistics and trade terms.
• Experience with handling documentation for LCL & FCL Shipments & preferably for air freight also.
• Basic knowledge of excel and word
• Knowledge of export customs clearing processes
Preferable Requirements:
• Understanding of express courier options and how the different courier companies operate.
• Understanding of door to door logistics arrangements.
Job Responsibilities:
• Completing the paperwork for all LCL & FCL Shipments
• Dealing with the various shipping agents, courier agents, shipping lines & our logistics partners in other countries.
• Making export documentation & managing logistics for export orders.
• Managing & dealing with local logistics parties such as trucking people, customs agents, etc. and making all preparations for container loading.
• Arranging quality control inspections at factories.
• Liaising with the warehouse vendors for our warehousing needs.
