We focus mostly on oral English and have students ranging from children to adults. At Mingshi we are focusing on teaching our students according to the Trinity College London examination standards, a GESE oral English exam. We offer competative salary, in line with other language institutions in Guangzhou.
Below are the responsibilities and requirement for anyone who would be interested in the above position.
Responsibilities:
-As part of a small team you will be tasked with teaching oral English to students according to the Trinity College Exam standards (materials provided)
-As an oral English teacher you should pay close attention to students’ pronunciation, sentence patterns and grammar
-You will teach small classes ranging mostly from one to four students, though obviously sometimes a larger class can also be assigned to you
-You should be ready to be able to teach children, teenagers as well adults.
-You will work 40 hours a week, with 2 days off but with a working weekend
Requirements:
-As we are a small team we are looking for a team player who would be professional inside and outside of the classroom
-You should have a clear, understandable accent, being a native speaker is not necessary
-You should have at least a Bachelors degree.
-A teaching certificate (TEFL, CELTA) preferred but not necessary
-Experience is a plus.
