1. Bachelor’s or above degree in English or relating majors, with TEM Band 8 Certificate;
2. Excellent English-speaking skill and listening comprehension, proficient translation skills from Chinese to English or vice versa and sound Chinese-writing skills;
3. Conscientious, detail-oriented, quick-witted, and with strong sense of responsibility. Medical English major will be an advantage.
4. “client-centered” and with excellent coordinating and problem-solving abilities.
Job responsibilities:
1. To provide international patients with timely and correct English interpretation and translation, and ensure medical translation quality;
2. To assist other departments of the hospital in other translation or interpretation tasks;
3. To complete hospital and department training programs as well as personal study objectives under the supervision of superior.
4. To master basic medical knowledge and be proficient in the use of office software;
5. To observe hospital regulations and department management system, and to work with diligency and efficiency;
6. To be clad in department uniforms, clean and tidy in appearance, and refined in language and manners;
7. To timely report to the superior relating customer service information.
