About China Today
The Beijing-based multilingual comprehensive monthly magazine China Today (formerly China Reconstructs) was founded by late Honorary President of the PRC Soong Ching Ling (Mme. Sun Yat-sen) in 1952, and is part of the China International Communications Group. It is now published in seven languages.
China Today covers the full spectrum of present-day China, including economy, politics, culture, society, and the environment, with emphasis on its opening-up and reforms, people’s livelihood, and international relations. It reports timely and comprehensively on the latest happenings in China, its key policies, stances, and opinions, and offers in-depth analysis of major domestic and global events.
Job Description：
Working responsibility involves polishing articles translated from Chinese, copyediting, proofreading and feature story writing.
Requirements：
Applicants are expected to have:
1． English as a native language.
2． Master degree or bachelor with at least two years of work experience.
3． A background in journalism or a media related field.
4． Professional writing and editing skills
5． Ability to work to strict deadlines.
6． Ability to work as part of a team.
7． Be computer literate and familiar with the Internet.
(Mandarin is an advantage but not essential.)
