T...The Korean International School in Beijing Is Looking for One English Teacher
The Korean International School in Beijing is looking for one teacher (currently in China with a valid work permit) to teach English language to Elementary students. The contract period February 22 2023 to February 21, 2024.
Working hours are Monday to Friday: 8:20am – 4:30pm. Teachers are contracted to teach up to 20 classes per week (each class is 40 minutes). Teachers may be required to teach extra classes for additional pay. Duties include teaching English language from set student books. In addition, teachers are expected to make extra materials too. Teachers will also make final examinations for the end of each semester. Class sizes are between 10 to 25 students and divided into levels based on the student’s English language ability.
Requirements:
1) Native English speaker
2) Bachelor’s degree or above
3) At least 2 years related teaching experience
4) Have a recognized ESL teaching certificate (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA)
Benefits:
1) Starting salary 15,700 RMB per month (extra incentives paid to teachers holding a teaching license or a master’s degree)
2) Teachers will be paid 210 RMB per each class over 20 contract hours.
3) Optional after school program between 3pm – 4:30pm daily (paying 360 RMB per 60-minute class and 480 RMB per 80-minute class)
4) Housing allowance of 8,000 RMB per month, or 9,000 RMB for families of 3 or more members.
5) Contract completion bonus equal to one month’s salary paid at the completion of each contract.
