Looking for an assistant manager for a small but dynamic food & beverage and service related business in Beijing.
Location is Dongcheng District with occasional trips to Chaoyang District.
Job is full-time.
Candidates must:
-be bilingual (Chinese & English)
-have strong communication skills
-have a good customer-service oriented personality, be organized, and be self-starters (able to take initiative and work with minimal direction)
-have a passion for Chinese & Western cuisine
-be willing to work some weekends and evenings
-have an understanding of or familiarity with Chinese & Western culture
Additional consideration will be given to candidates who:
-have some marketing & sales experience
-have some experience in managing a small business
-restaurant experience is a plus
Duties will include but are not limited to:
-administrative & office duties, including overseeing reservations from our foreign & Chinese clientele
-customer relations and occasional wait-staff work
-managing a small team of front-of-the-house staff
-communicating with our entire team to ensure that operations are running smoothly
-assistance in creating new products & services
-marketing and sales
