Little Scholars Preschool (LSP) is an independent English full-immersion preschool and kindergarten. It is located in the heart of Beijing’s university district. With a student body ranging from the ages of 2.5 to 6, LSP provides a safe, supportive, and caring environment in which children can grow and learn. We are currently seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced teachers for our early childhood classes as well as our afterschool class.
Duties include:
- Planning and teaching lessons that encourage children’s mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, art, and imaginative play.
- Supporting the development of the children's basic skills, including physical co-ordination, speech and communication in addition to fostering a sense of independence and self-direction.
- Tracking and recording the children’s development and communicating with parents regarding their child’s progress.
Qualifications:
- Native Language: English
- Proven experience working with children under the age of five.
- Bachelor's Degree, and a TEFL/TOEFL certificate
- Physically able to move freely, climb, squat, kneel, bend, and lift 40 lbs.
- Letters of recommendation from previous employers, on-site interview and observation; alternatively, we will accept digital submissions of teaching example and video interviews.
We offer a competitive salary (16,000 – 23, 000RMB), 12 months full pay, national holidays off, housing relocation assistance, and partial airfare reimbursement upon completion of contract. School hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 5:00.
