HEC is an education-consulting firm headquartered in Shenzhen, China, with offices in Beijing and Boston providing university admission consulting and strategy services to high school students seeking the best possible admission results to U.S. universities. Education consultants will be responsible for researching and understanding the college admissions landscape and most importantly, working with our students to guide them through the application process. We also provide extracurricular planning and academic advising services to younger students who are not yet ready to apply to colleges.
Our consultants strive to understand each student and help them showcase their talents and potential. Evaluating potential majors, choosing the ideal college(s), assisting with the creation and development of admissions essays, and helping students to develop as "whole persons" are all part of our process.
Position Description:
【Key Responsibilities】
We focus on unique application plan that takes into account students’ desires, strengths and dreams. We help families to put their best foot forward, while encouraging students to be themselves. We also offer clarity, effectively organizing individual elements, helping students to add significant value to the process of their college applications.
Our consultants strive to understand each student and help them showcase their talents and potential. Evaluating potential majors, choosing the ideal college(s), assisting with the creation and development of admissions essays, and helping students to develop as "whole persons".
【Responsibilities】
Execute and manage Consulting Strategic Direction， responsible for greater insight and access to school selection, essay and interview coaching and application packaging.
Supervise all applications and steps in the process
Assist in academic advising and signature activities planning
Assist center manager with marketing and sales consulting
【Compensation】
18k-22k RMB base salary + Commission + Bonus + other company benefits (Health Care, company trips etc) and sponsored Work Visa (This evens out to over 30k per month easily with bonuses).
【Candidate Requirements】
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from top 30 ranking US college program is required.
Experiences with working in education field are preferred.
Knowledge of both individual and institutional research techniques is desired.
Experienced with strong investigative, analytical, writing, and computer skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
【Work Location】
Currently recruiting for the Beijing Office. Possibility of relocating to Shanghai or Shenzhen in the future if preferred.
