We need someone overwhelmingly positive, open to challenges and genuinely passionate about people and community. You will have an essential role in the organisation to drive culture and communicate it deftly both internally and externally. This will include:
Organisational culture:
* Creating and sustaining systems to unify the organisation
* Working with teams to ensure they align with company values
* Organising social events and activities
* Creating and overseeing a company handbook
Communications:
* Developing social media across the organisation
* Copyediting internal and external documents
* Producing content for Venture education WeChat account and other social media
* Collecting data and producing impact reports
* Assisting with all external communication with partners
* Supporting communications for and with British partners
Human Resources:
* Leading induction and onboarding of new staff
* Leading support for staff moving on
* Producing English-language HR material
* Driving recruitment of all foreign staff and interns
* Supporting staff training and performance appraisal
Project Support:
* Supporting all internal and external events
* Assisting the research and intelligence team
* Driving forward projects with UK partners
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven interest in China; especially in education
* An enterprising personality with a proven track record of executing work of high quality
* Strong writing abilities in English; Chinese-language ability is an advantage
* Attention to detail; capable of producing both quality and quantity
* Empathy and communications skills; the ability to understand people and teams and tell their story
* A highly collaborative and open nature, and an appetite for new experiences
Your background:
* You attended a British or international school, or have close knowledge of them through, for example, work experience
* You graduated from a British universityYou have at least five years’ work experience

* 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday
* Salary upon application
* Duration: 2 years
* Z-visa (official working visa) for non-Chinese nationals
