Overview of Responsibilities:
•Lead daily teaching and learning activities of the subject
•Coordinate with other teachers according to students’ needs
•Research and co-develop interdisciplinary curriculum with other teachers
•Coach, train or co-teach with other teachers, or provide other professional support as needed
•Organize and participate in routine faculty meetings and research activities, collecting feedback on student performance from colleagues
•Develop PD programs or student programs on specific topics as needed
•Other duties as assigned by school administration
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree or above in education or subject related field
•Minimum 2 years of experience in subject teaching
•Familiar with teaching methods and theories of education
•Feel comfortable working in a multicultural environment
•Commitment to a standards-based curriculum model
•Creativity and problem-solving skills
•Open to integrating technology into teaching and learning
•Experience with interdisciplinary curriculum development is preferred
•Vision of a learning community
•Student-centered philosophy
Work Hours: 40 hours a week (class hours no less than 20 hours)
