STEM Consultant Responsibilities
• Plan, deliver and assess bespoke one-to-one and small group STEM classes to students K-13
• Provide exam support for STEM-related tests and public examinations
• Collaboratively plan, team-teach and assess at least 3 x 5-week project-based-learning class projects over the course of the academic year
• Lead 1-2 weekly Enrichment activities per year
• Contribute to PE and specialist enterprise days, workshops, projects and activities throughout the year
• Organise at least one TSL event per year
• Support BFL systems consistently within the Learning Tree, and contribute to their continued development
• Commit to ongoing training, team curriculum development and school improvement throughout the year
• Work closely with Study Progress Consultants and teacher management team to provide daily feedback to parents and ensure students are fully supported
Position Requirements
The right candidate will have a PGCE with a subject specialism appropriate to STEM teaching, and at least two years post-degree work experience in an area likely to prove useful to working at Atlas. ESL experience, or experience working in cross-cultural environments is an advantage.
Job Details
• 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday
• 15,000-19,000RMB per month depending on experience and qualifications
• One-to-one tutoring overtime available (240RMB-330RMB per hour) depending on experience and qualifications
• Full work visa (Z-Visa, if requirements are met)
• Medical Insurance provided
• Located a short distance from Maquanying Subway Station (Line 15)
