We need extremely energetic and passionate educators who have the ability to motivate and inspire Chinese students. For many Flourish students, this will be the first foreign teacher they have ever had, and teachers should be positive ambassadors for supportive, interesting and dynamic international education. Teachers will need to be able to manage large group classes, question and encourage effectively, and not only follow the provided material but help to develop new curriculum based on academic research and creativity.
The person who takes on this role is exceptional and committed, raising the standard to achieve innovative, internationally competitive education.
Responsibilities:
• Teach a full-time schedule (7.5 hours a week)
• Collaborate with the Flourish education team to develop and adapt programme curricula
• Report on progress through continuous feedback and assessment
• Attend and participate in project meetings, training, and events
• Undertake independent academic research to effectively contribute to project expansion
• Create engaging educational content for digital media platforms to further build relationships with students, teachers and schools
• Commit to assist overseeing a selected department area of project
• Reflect on project needs and suggest innovative approaches to achieve long-term goals
• Be a positive and professional ambassador for Flourish
Location: Dongcheng District, Central Beijing
Hours: Mon – Fri 9am – 6pm
Contract: 10-12 months
Salary: 16,000RMB per month
Official Requirements: Two years post-university work experience; passport from a native-English speaking country (government required)
Preferred: A degree from a top university; an education-related degree; teaching certification; teacher-training experience; curriculum-design experience
