| Art+798 International Art Education Centre is seeking a drama teacher to run the...Art+798 International Art Education Centre is seeking a drama teacher to run their drama curriculum based on the "Starlight" children's book for kids aged 5-8 and 9-13 as part of their Winter Art Camp.
Our winter art camp is a cohesive and varied curriculum leading students to develop a finished English-language drama show. In addition to drama classes, students design and make their own set, props and instruments, to be used in the final performance.
The ideal candidate would:
- have experience teaching drama to Chinese students
- be enthusiastic and approachable when working with kids
- be fluent in English, with a basic understanding of Chinese
- have a passion for both the process and the final outcome in a drama course
The job responsibilities include:
- assist in the development of teaching plans in tandem with staff at the Art+798's centre (during November / December, to meet in 798 several times)
- work with other teachers before and during art camps to ensure a cohesive performance and curriculum outcome
- lead the drama classes of the centre's winter art camp
- direct the final performance (25th January)
Hours: 2-6 hours class per day (depending on student numbers)
Dates: 21-25 January, 2017 (5 days)

Fee: Negotiable, based on experience, arts & drama background
