Vannamei shrimp. Headquarters are located in Panama City, Panama, however operations include: Mexico, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Thailand.
Employment is either part-time or full time; depends on the applicant's time availability
Responsibilities for the job include:
- Market research on hatcheries in China that import P. Vannamei broodstock
- Travelling with sales representatives to hatcheries in China to offer white leg nauplii or broodstock
- Become familiar with Farallon Aquaculture's shrimp genetics and the market in China
Job requirements:
- Chinese native based in Beijing, China
- Bachelors or above in biology, natural science, agricultural or aquaculture studies
-Intermediate/advance level of Spanish or English; either one will do
- Be self-motivated and have a genuine interest to learn
