Basic Function:
Our company is an investment and marketing agency. We are looking for a candidate to be our business development manager who is expected to have the following qualities:
The main responsibility of a Business Development Manager is to support our company for business growth and is responsible for the acquisition of new projects and project bids. This position will work directly with our business development team in China for a coordinated effort to generate business from Asian markets.

Business Development Manager Job Duties:
o Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually
o Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams
o Coordinate with staff team for standards, conditions and timing of research for potential buisness opportunities
o Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring
opportunities.
o Develop draft proposals based on team / client meetings and discussions
o Maintain the Business Development databases
o Support marketing activities, including trade shows, promotional materials, etc.
o Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials;
evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
o Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and
operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
o Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract
requirements with business operations.
o Asian experience or background a must

Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism
Candidate must have a keen interest in China/Africa trade with developing countries
Ability to speak, read or write Chinese – a plus.
