Joining the team in either New York or Beijing, you’ll be working directly with our publisher on all aspects of the business side of the world’s leading digital publication on China’s luxury industry. Drive, creative problem solving, digital publishing experience, and financial acumen will be needed to successfully develop Jing Daily’s partnerships, marketing activities, and ad sales.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing plans for new and existing projects and products
Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities
Expand and develop marketing platforms for Jing and its products
Develop media kit and distribute
Work with advertisers and manage advertising accounts
Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results
Develop Jing Daily’s readership and subscribers
Expand partnership, collaborations, and business outreach
Conduct market research, track and analyze performance
Qualifications:
BA degree in relevant field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid understanding of digital media/publishing landscape, including monetization sources and technologies
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends in data and in generated reports
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, attention to details
Ability to multi-task
Bonus Points:
Chinese language skills
Experience with WordPress and Google Analytics
Experience with Chinese-language social media platforms including Weibo and WeChat
