The School Editor contributes regularly to the magazine and website, and stays in close contact with schools, educational centers, and other relevant organizations in the community to ensure that beijingkids is always the first to know about community happenings.

As part of their duty, the School Editor will be heavily involved with the community, and represents the brand and True Run Media to a variety of organizations, including at events.

□ Writes content for the magazine and blog, including regular magazine columns ( The Roundtable, When I Grow Up, Blank Canvas and one Schooled feature article per month), additional columns and features as assigned, breaking news stories, and other community happenings.

□ Keeps in close contact and conducts regular visits to relevant organizations (schools, educational centers, and other community-related organizations), and pitches related content for the magazine and blog.

□ Coordinates the School Correspondents Program.

Requirements:
Language: Fluent speaking and writing skills in English. Chinese language skills a major advantage.
Personality: Outgoing, a people person.
