The Associate Editor is responsible for gathering information about their “beat”, generating story ideas and writing for the Beijinger magazine and website. The Associate Editor also represents the Beijinger and True Run Media externally at community and client events.

• Provide complete and up-to-date coverage of the latest events taking place in their field via magazine and website content.

• Attend daily pitch meetings and provide pitches and ideas for the magazine and website.

• Keep a leading edge by staying well-connected and influential in the community by attending events, and maintaining important relationships.

• Maintains the Beijinger’s listings database by writing listings, updating their information, or deleting them.
