Therefore, we are hiring dedicated advisors who guide and motivate learners so they can get the most out of their learning experience.
Generally, over a 12-month period, learners get guidance and support on how to achieve their goals. They are matched with a dedicated advisor who on a periodic basis motivates, encourages and helps drive their learning through motivational calls, personalized recommendation emails and motivational emails.
Key responsibilities
• Supervise learner progression and engagement in order to ensure that monthly study objectives are met (set by learners’ company or agreed between the advisor and learner)
• Motivate learners to take advantage and make the most out of various learning tools within the self-study program
• Provide expertise and support while answering learner queries regarding the self-study program and resources
• Communicate with learners via periodic contacts (at least once each month) either via e-mail or by phone (usually in learner’s native language)
• Keep records of completed Advisor tasks (monthly progress checks / incidental contacts) in student database
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with your Team Leader and coordinator regarding any issues, feedback, and/or questions that you or your learners may have.
• Contribute in improving the Advisor programme with other team members and team leader, by providing constructive feedback on a regular basis (at weekly meetings).
Requirements:
• Bilingual Mandarin-English
• Certifications and experience with learners of Mandarin or English as a second language
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated administrative professionalism and responsiveness
• Time management skills – self-driven and ability to prioritise
• Excellent communication skills and a talent for motivating reluctant learners
• Warmth and positivity
• IT literacy – quick learner of new programs and procedures
• Fast Internet connection
• Availability and Flexibility
• Fluency in a 3rd or 4th language, while not required, are highly valued
Conditions include:

• Hours: 40-hour week within the hours of 8:00am and 7:00pm (+7 UTC)
