This location-based app lets you meet strangers through social games. The key here is to offer a variety of fun to users that are by and large China’s post-90’s youths. Founded in summer 2013 by former executive of a global mobile game company, they are headquartered in Beijing and already have 30+ million users. We are very proud to manage their next stage of recruitment.
You will join a dynamic and international team (60+ staff member at the moment) with an open mind and the drive to change it all.
Main responsibilities, but not limited to, include:
Design and implementat core backend architecture for their mobile social media platform;
Manage the backend development team ;
Work in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical members.
You will present with the following qualifications:
BA/BS in CS or relevant field;
3 years or more of web development and architecture experience, with experience in 100K concurrent connections;
Strong knowledge of PHP underlying architecture and common open-source implementation, and experienced in performance optimization;
Well-versed in Memcached, REDIS, and MySQL as well as relevant high availability;
Excellent communication and team work skills, as well as capable of handling a high task load;
Passionate about learning and self-growth, while staying true to the “geek” spirit.
