Main responsibilities, but not limited to, include:
Maintain existing Linux server and networking infrastructure;
Automate infrastructure provisioning and code deployment;
Automate monitoring and incident detection;
Maintain database performance and replication;
Detect bottlenecks and make recommendations for improvements to existing architecture.
You will present with the following qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent;
Experience working in Linux/Unix environments;
Good understanding of networking (Cisco, Juniper, etc.);
Experience with databases (e. g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle);
Experience with Graphite, Nagios, or other monitoring tools;
Strong programming skills in Python, Ruby, Perl or other scripting language;
Willingness to work flexible hours at times, based on needs, including on-call rotation;
Experience working in both cloud and data center environments;
Experience with Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Docker, other IT automation frameworks;
Experience with BGP routing ;
