Job Description for PR Director:
Main responsibilities:
Developing and executing media programs. Functions of the role are:
• Provide strategic public relations oversight in international market for major apps, games and the company
• Execute press outreach, media events, media calls, collateral, product related crisis communications; press material development
• Create PR programs; align closely with marketing campaigns, using communications tools and practices; providing communications counsel to senior management
• Help to enhance the brand and company's success by applying proactive and reactive communications strategy
• Draft correspondence and media messages to outside media inquiries
Qualifications:
Necessary education:
• University degree in communication, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field.
• MBA is appreciated
• Deep knowledge and experience about internet/mobile/apps industry and market
Personal skills:
• Native English speaker
• Solid professional competence in brand or corporate communication
• A strong team leader who can motivate, coach and develop the team
• A strong coordinator, able to work within a matrix organization and be capable to communicate / cooperate with different decision makers
• Strong inter-personal skills, conflict solving and relationship management
• Strong cross-cultural ability
• Strong ability of development and implementation of concept and strategies
• Strong problem solving decisions
• Strong ability to manage agencies and suppliers
Working experience (in years):
• 5+ years in corporate or brand communication
• 3+ years of team management in a senior position
