Teaching kids is tough work… but our teachers are up to that challenge. Based in Beijing and operating for over 10 years, MIK/Muffy’s International Kindergarten offers English immersion through nursery, preschool, kindergarten and after school programs.

The Job
Our teachers expose each student to a wide assortment of activities that allow them to become active participants in their learning journey. Using Howard Garner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory as the backbone of our curriculum, we tailor our lessons to support each child’s unique abilities and special talents through the different smarts.
Students who come to the school are between the ages of 2 to 7 years old. Each teacher has their own class they stay with for the entire year with a maximum of 18 students in the class. Along with our Chinese Teacher assistants and daily life teachers, your job will be to engage our students to develop their own talents and social competence to become a curious life-long-learner.
The Must Have’s
Native English Speakers from North America, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand
Bachelor’s degree in education with teaching license/certificate or Early Childhood Experience
2 years working with young learners
Ability to clear a background check
Candidates with music, art or dance/drama background are strongly encouraged to apply
Benefits We Offer
MIK offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Some things you get for being part of our team include: a monthly salary for teachers of 12,000 - 17,000 RMB after taxes (higher negotiable salary for management positions), housing allowance, 8,000 RMB end of contract bonus, sponsored legal Z work visa, a minimum of 28 paid holidays, paid sick and personal days, organized team outings including KTV nights, chuanr dinners and trip to the Great Wall!
