Job Description
1. Game Translator (Native English Speaker)
a. Translate any written text, software files, documentation, and other materials relevant to game projects, and make sure they are correct in meaning and understandable to native speakers of the target market.
b. In-game language testing and optimization
2. Game Proofreader
a. Revise any improper expressions, including but not limited to spelling, grammar, symbols, special game language, etc.
b. Localize any written text, software files, documentation, and other materials to meet a style commonly used by native speakers of the target market.
c. In-game language testing and optimization.
Requirements
1. Native English speaker
2. Experienced gamer of online games or mobile games. Passionate about video or mobile games and translation/proofreading/localization work preferred.
4. Experienced translator of games preferred.
5. Good at CAT tools (Trados/MemoQ)
6. Experienced user of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
7. Good at communication and teamwork. Patient, well-disciplined, careful, and reliable.
